Label Apps & Websites as Productive or Unproductive

🎯 Overview

What is productivity rating?

Productivity ratings let you define whether time spent on specific apps and websites counts as productive, neutral, or unproductive for each employee. Ratings can be applied at two levels β€” company-wide or per individual β€” giving you flexibility to reflect different roles and responsibilities across your organization.

For example, social media may be unproductive for a developer but productive for a marketing team member. Productivity ratings let you capture these nuances accurately.

Prerequisites

Before configuring productivity ratings, make sure you have:

  • Admin access to your Flowace account
  • At least one member added under Admin Settings β†’ Members
  • Teams created (optional, but recommended for team-level configuration)

Setting up productivity scope

The Productivity Scope tab lets you configure how productivity is measured for each member β€” individually or at company level.

  1. Navigate to **Admin Settings **from the left sidebar.
  2. Expand **Work Policies **and click Productivity Setting.
  3. Ensure you are on the **Productivity Scope **tab.
  4. Use the **Search by Name / Email / Id **bar to quickly find a specific member.
  5. For each member, select a **Mapping Preference **from the dropdown in the third column.
  6. Changes are saved automatically when you change the dropdown value.
