Meeting Classification in Flowace | Calendar Integration Guide

Learn how to connect and classify meetings in Flowace using Google, Microsoft, and Flowace calendar integrations for seamless productivity tracking.


Flowace automatically syncs and classifies your meetings from Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or directly within the Flowace platform.

By connecting your meeting apps, you can track time spent in meetings, identify productive patterns, and gain deeper visibility into your daily workflow — all in one place.


Accessing the Calendar Meetings Dashboard


  • From your Flowace sidebar, go to Calendar Meetings under the Activity Tracking section.
  • You’ll see the Demo Flowace Calendar View, where all synced meetings appear in a monthly layout.
  • At the top, you’ll find integration buttons for:Sign in with MicrosoftSign in with GoogleSync (🔄) to refresh your meeting data.

💡 Tip: You can connect both Google and Microsoft accounts to view all your meetings in one unified calendar.


Integrating Your Calendar Apps


a. Connect Google Calendar

  • Click Sign In with Google.
  • Select your Google account and grant Flowace access permissions.
  • Once connected, your Google Calendar meetings will automatically appear on the Flowace calendar.

b. Connect Microsoft Outlook / Office 365 Calendar

  • Click Sign In with Microsoft.
  • Sign in with your Microsoft work or school account.
  • Approve Flowace permissions to read calendar events.
  • After syncing, all meetings from your Outlook calendar will appear under the selected date view.


Understanding Meeting Filters


On the left panel, Flowace provides smart filters to customize your meeting view.


🔹 Meeting App

Filter meetings by their source:

  • Microsoft: Displays meetings from your Outlook calendar.
  • Google: Shows meetings from your Google Calendar.
  • Flowace: Displays meetings created directly within Flowace.

💬 You can enable or disable any filter using the checkboxes to simplify your view.


Meeting Classification in Flowace


Flowace automatically categorizes your meetings based on classification.


🔸 Meeting Status Types


You’ll see two meeting classifications:

  • Task Time: Meetings linked to a new task or project created from Flowace.
  • Non Task Time: Meetings not linked to any task, usually recurring or informational meetings.


Syncing and Refreshing Meetings


After integrating your calendars:

  • Click the Sync (🔄) button under the sign-in section.
  • Flowace will fetch the latest meeting data from your connected Google or Microsoft accounts.
  • New meetings or edits will automatically appear in your monthly view.

💡 Pro Tip: Re-sync your calendar after making significant scheduling changes in Google or Outlook to keep Flowace updated in real-time.
