A work category groups similar apps and websites, such as Communication. Each category has a Name, a Colour and a Productivity Rating. When you choose a category for an app or website, it takes the category’s rating.

When to use this setting

  • Rate similar apps together. Give Google Meet, Slack and Microsoft Teams the same category and rating.
  • Keep reports consistent. Categories give reports a common way to group time.
  • Save effort. Choose a category instead of setting each rating by hand.
